How do I request an e-Transfer?

Once you have a minimum of $10.00 in your Return-It Express account you can request an Interac e-Transfer. To request an Interac e-Transfer please follow these steps:

  1. Access your Return-It Express account here using the email address and password registered to your Return-It Express account.
  2. Once your account is open, your balance will be available to view on the top left-hand side.
  3. Below the balance section, you will find the redemption section, which provides two options for redeeming your money - cheque or Interac e-Transfer.
  4. Select Interac e-Transfer: 
  5. Choose how much money you would like to redeem (you can choose a full refund or a partial refund). The system will automatically use Canadian dollar so there is no need to enter a currency symbol ($).
  6.  Create a security question and answer. Take note of your security question and answer as you will have to answer this question successfully to deposit the money to your bank account.
  7. Click "submit".
  8. You will receive a confirmation email from Return-It right away confirming that the request has been processed.
  9. It can take up to 36 hours for Interac to send the deposit email. Once you receive this email you can select your preferred bank account and answer the security question from step 6.
